Why coaching expatriates?
Although international relocations have become increasingly common, they represent major steps in anyone’s life.
You may move with your family, which, uprooted, needs to adjust to an entirely new context. This adds pressure on you as an expatriate.
You must succeed at work and make it “worth the efforts of everyone”, including your spouse who has to redefine a personal and professional identity.

Expatriate coaching is similar to executive coaching, with a focus on succeeding through the complex transition that is expatriation.
Remotely or face to face we work together to prepare the key elements of this change. Depending on what you would like, we can cover the family dimension, in addition to the professional one.
Once you have started to “settle”, the focus is on you operating at your best in a foreign context while making sure you have the level of personal stability that you need.

Expatriate coaching addresses the specific and unique challenges, opportunities and vulnerabilities associated with expatriation, both during and after the move. It provides very valuable reassurance through all key steps.
During times when almost everything changes, from the mundane to the most essential, coaching helps with a faster identification of one’s own “compass” and keys to success in the role and in new life situations.
There is strong added value in coaching spouses of expatriates, as they also play a key role in the success of the expatriation.
